Monday's Random Five- No Rhyme or Reason

Hello, readers!

I am back from beautiful, (humid), Tennessee and finally recovered to a point of being my original self. Here are five random things on my radar that are truly random.

The beautiful retreat house in Normandy, TN.
(Note to self, angles ARE your friend.)

Meet Huey, short for Huge, one of the resident cats at Hatch Show Prints in Nashville, TN. I doubt they need a terrier on duty with Huey in house.

Still amazed that we are looking down the barrel of 5, (FIVE!!!), years together.

Totally loving, yet completely intimidated by my new SMASH journal from EK Success. I want to make it fabulous and I want one in every color.

And just when I felt like I was pretty talented, I see something beyond words amazing like this hand painted piano from The Junk in Our Trunks. Seriously? Just the idea to do this makes my ideas feel novice. This is phenomenal. No need to put a vase of flowers on it, you have the perfect poppy that will never die right there.

  1. That piano is gorgeous!!! And don't you just love the Smash stuff? I want to get "Mark"....the book-marky type little man with the fancy mustache. Although I'm not quite sure what I'm going to end up doing with him! Great pics, BTW!!!

  2. Cool list!
I haven't jumped on the smash book craze yet.

  3. Congratulations on the five year anniversary! That piano is out of control amazing.

  4. Lovin' the retreat house, your dress and OMG, that piano is just fabulous!
I too, have yet to jump on the Smash Book craze. But I'm sure that will all change once I see what you do with yours!

  5. Love the front porch! I could so hang out there for hours! What an awesome job on the piano!!
Like Staci, I haven't gotten in the Smash Book Craze yet... notice I am saying yet. Just as sure as I say I'm not going to, then I'll suddenly be all about it!

  6. I never saw a piano like that. How beautiful is that!?! What a cute kitty all curled up in the cubby like that. Congrats on the 5 yrs - it goes fast, doesn't it? I'm curious what the rest of Greg's shirt says. I love those kinds of porches, too. You look great on it.

  7. I love the picture of you on the porch. Lovely. And that piano is stunning.
